Privacy, cookies & your data

This page explains how the CopadoCon+ content hub handles your data. It supplements — and does not replace — the Copado Privacy Policy and Website Terms of Use, which govern your use of this site.

What we collect

  • Account details you give us at sign-up: first and last name, work email, company, job title, and your marketing-preference choice.
  • Viewing activity: which sessions you open, play, pause and complete, and your playback position so you can resume.

Cookies & analytics

Essential storage (sign-in session and security) is always active — the site cannot work without it. No third-party tracking scripts are ever loaded, and browsing as a visitor is not measured unless you press “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. When you are signed in, we record first-party service-usage records tied to your account (sign-in, pages opened, sessions played and watch time) so we can operate and improve the content hub; this data is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Your current choice: no choice made yet

Where your data is stored (cross-border transfers)

CopadoCon+ account, viewing-activity and analytics data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted on Amazon Web Services in the ap-south-1 region (Mumbai, India). Application hosting and content delivery run on a global edge network, so requests may be served from a point of presence near you.

If you access CopadoCon+ from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your personal data is therefore transferred outside your region. Copado relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable) as the transfer mechanism, together with encryption in transit and at rest. Session videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode; playback requests reach Google servers, which may be located outside your region.

Your rights & deleting your data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing analytics consent is instant, via the button above).

To exercise any of these rights — including deletion of your CopadoCon+ account and all associated viewing history — email privacy@copado.com from the address on your account and tell us what you would like done. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Signed-in users can also start a deletion request straight from the library footer link below, which opens a pre-filled email.
